Green Card holders: Change to Garda National Immigration Bureau card
The Garda National Immigration Card (GNIB) have recently changed the length of their GNIB card. The card will now be given for only one year regardless of whether you have a work permit or a green card. Vantage Resources Ltd IT contracting staff who secured a green card before May of this year were provisioned with a GNIB card for two years. However, new applications will only receive their card for one year. For people on a 2 year green card, please make sure to renew your GNIB card after one year.
