Our client is a prominent Irish business lender renowned for its expertise in providing flexible financial solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Ireland.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the Information and Technology Director you'll be responsible for spearheading the strategic direction, implementation, and management of our information technology systems and infrastructure. You'll work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to optimize operational efficiency, and to ensure the security and reliability of our client’s IT ecosystem.

Lead and develop key resources to grow capability as the business expands.
Implement robust cybersecurity measures and maintain compliance standards to protect our client's data and systems.
Foster a culture of security, innovation, and collaboration to drive IT impact on organizational success.
Develop and manage the IT budget in alignment with strategic priorities.
Identify and mitigate IT risks and vulnerabilities to minimize disruptions and downtime.
Evaluate emerging technologies and oversee the implementation of new systems and solutions.
What you need:
8+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in financial services.
Strong technical expertise in infrastructure management, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems integration.
Experience with AWS, MS, BI and Zoho is a plus.
Proven track record of managing IT projects within budget and timeline constraints.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) is a plus.
