Network Engineer

• Our client is a well-known e-commerce platform looking for a Network Engineer to join the network sub-team of the overall infrastructure team .

Role and Responsibilities:

• Network installations including Cisco Routers, ASAs, Switches
• Administration and Monitoring of Azure and Hybrid Networking environments
• Administration of DDoS platform
• Managing the security posture.
• Identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Participating in responding to security incidents.
• Implementing new security measures on the Azure cloud.
• Using networking and virtualization to improve cybersecurity measures.
• Taking part in the design of new technology.

What you need:

Experience:

• Enterprise networking, including on-premises and cloud infrastructure, and network security.
• Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, such as VMs and virtual networking.
• Practical experience in the administration of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
• Strong familiarity with compute, network, and storage in Azure.

Collaboration:

• Ability to collaborate with architects, administrators, and developers to plan and implement solutions that meet security and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in a team to implement and support networks and end-users.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of various Cisco networking technologies, including IP routing, switching, and wireless access points.
• Familiarity with remote access tools, user VPNs, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Experience with network installations, including Cisco Routers, ASAs, and Switches.
• Familiarity with Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) and Web Application Firewall (WAF) protections.
