Gar Mac Críosta, Biztalk Specialist, is giving a presentation at the June 7th Microsoft Technology Users Group (MTUG) annual technical conference in Cineworld complex on Parnell Square. This year for the first time Vantage Resources is co-sponsoring the conference, entitled the Irish Microsoft Technology Conference. Previously the conference was called the Irish .net Developer Conference, but as a reflection of the increased variety in technologies of interest to MTUG members, the conference has updated its name. This year a number of speakers will present on a range of topics. We are delighted that Gar is one of the 14 speakers. He will give a presentation on his area of expertise; Biztalk.

Gar Mac Críosta is working on site with one of Vantage Resources' key public sector clients. He is currently leading development on a large Biztalk Implementation for An Garda Síochána. His presentation will showcase some of the new features available in BizTalk 2006 R2 and BizTalk RFID in an alternative setting to the “order processing” demo. He has entitled his presentation as “Biztalk meets CSI”. His lecture will run between 15:30 and 16:30 in Screen 5.

A number of other Vantage contractors and consultants will also participate and attend this year's conference. Some of Vantage contractors, who are involved with MTUG, have signed up to attend the workshops. Also, five of Vantage's IT Recruitment Consultants shall attend the conference and a further two will run our stand in the foyer. We are giving away a 32” Flat Screen TV to one lucky winner. All you have to do to be in with a chance to win the TV is to fill in your name and contact details on a competition entry card. The winner will be drawn from a hat on Friday the 15th June and the winner will be announced on our website that same day.
