Vantage poll reveals IT Contractors opinion on training
19th Jun 2007

Vantage Resources ran their second ever poll from Tuesday the 12th of June to Monday the 18th of June. This time the question posed was; as an IT contractor would you accept a lower daily rate if training was provided as part of the job? Voters had two answers from which to choose; yes or no. The poll proved quite popular with visitors and register users of the website.
By the close of the poll at midnight on Monday 18th of June, 58.8% of voters indicated that they would accept a lower daily rate in return for training on the job. This result was similar to the result after the first day when 60% voted in favour of a lower daily rate for training. However, on Thursday the average result was against a lower rate, as 53.8% indicated that they would forego training for their usual daily rate. By Friday it had changed back to a favourable vote for training with a 69.6% vote result.
This week we ask; what time of the day are you most likely to do an Internet search for your next IT Contract? The choices are; before work, morning, lunch time, afternoon, evening or after work. We look forward to hearing your opinions.
Thank you for participating in our online polls. If there is a poll you would like to see on Vantage's website, please contact Lynda Hogan to suggest it. We will do our best to facilitate your request. Lynda.hogan@vantage.ie

I sent my CV to Vantage Resources whilst abroad. Vantage secured an interview within 1 week. I found Vantage to be honest, upfront and professional. They have a strong knowledge of the Dublin job market and only put me forward for relevant interviews. I would not hesitate in recommending them as a recruitment agency.
