In the first online poll for the month of July, we asked IT contractors which website they use to research IT contracts in Ireland. Respondents were given a list of twelve sites or sources to choose from. Only seven of the listed recruitment websites or online sources received votes from visitors or registered users of the Vantage website. The breakdown is outlined below.

Irish Jobs came out on top with 47.4% of overall votes. Monster.ie was the next most popular receiving 26.3% of the votes. The remainder of the votes were split evenly between Vantage Resources, Recruit Ireland, UK websites, professionals.ie and other websites that were not specified. The online sources that did not receive any votes in our poll were other consultancy or recruitment agencies, professionals.ie, irishdev.com, loadzajobs.ie and nixers.com.

To those that voted, we thank you for your vote and we hope you will continue to vote weekly. For first time users we also encourage you to have your opinion heard through our simple one step poll. This week we ask what industry IT contractors prefer to work in. The choices include financial services, the public sector, telecoms, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, real estate & business activities, research & development and an “other” option. The result of this poll will be available next Friday the 21st of July.
