Vantage Resources Ltd conducts a weekly poll on our website as a quick and easy way to hear the opinions of our visitors to the website. Last week we asked IT contractors about their perception on IT contract rates. Voters were asked to indicate if they believed their daily rate was above average, average or below average.

The poll ran for seven days and after the first day the result indicated that the majority of voters on that day believed their daily rate was above average. However, for the remaining 6 days the majority of votes were for the below average option. By the close of poll at 10am on Tuesday the 31st July the final result revealed that of the IT contractors who voted 50% believed their daily rate to be below average, 37.5% deem the daily rate they receive as average and 12.5% consider their daily rate to be above average.

This week we ask contractors where they prefer contracting; Dublin, Cork, Galway, Northern Ireland or London. The result will be available in the news section of Vantage website on the 7th of August.
