In last week's poll, Vantage asked IT contractors their preferred location for contracting. The choices that voters were presented with were; Dublin, Galway, Cork, Ireland other, Northern Ireland and London. Of visitors and registered users of Vantage website close to half indicated that Dublin was their preferred location.

Dublin was the predominant choice throughout the week. After just one day Dublin had received 42.9% of the votes for the preferred work location. At its lowest outcome, on the polls third day, it still held 34.6% of the votes. The number two position did not change either, with Cork opening and closing in second position. However, after two days Cork shared second place with London as the most popular places to work. The location that gained the least votes alternated between Ireland other and Northern Ireland throughout the week, closing with Northern Ireland receiving the overall least number of votes.

The final results in order;
• Dublin 46.3%
• Cork 19.5%
• London 17.1%
• Galway 7.3%
• Ireland other 7.3%
• Northern Ireland 2.4%
