IT Agile Project Manager (Cloud Migrations & Infrastructure)

IT Agile Project Manager (Cloud Migrations & Infrastructure) – 12 Month Day Rate Contract

Reporting to a Portfolio manager and as part of our Technology team you will delivery projects involving the migration of of legacy applications, systems, data and related infrastructure from on prem data centres to modern cloud technologies (AWS & Azure) . Ideally you will have experience across some of - cloud migrations / deployments, data migrations, hardware decommissioning, data centre deployments, full SDLC software development projects , upgrades, databases. This role will suit an experienced Agile IT project manager with strong communication skills who can work independently, takes ownership and is above all proactive in delivering projects in a challenging and complex environment .

What’s Involved:

Manage delivery of a portfolio of on prem to cloud migration projects in adherence to industry and corporate standards and KPIs in both waterfall and agile driven delivery environment
Responsible for scoping, planning, co-ordinating, risk management , reporting, vendor management, team leadership, cost management and quality in delivering application , infrastructure and data related migration projects across the portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all key internal technology operations and business stakeholders and external product vendors.
Solid understanding of infrastructure technology deployments into MS Azure production environments from a technical and business impact perspective.

What you need:

Min 10 + yrs. relevant IT Technology experience with at least 7 years in similar IT project / programme management delivery role.
Proven delivery experience working in full SDLC methodologies (waterfall and agile) working across multiple onshore / offshore teams & external vendors.
Experience with End User Computing project delivery
Experience working with Agile and DevOps teams
Excellent stakeholder management, customer relationship management , team leadership and excellence in project governance.
Excellent communication, ability to deliver under pressure, ability to operate in complex matrix organization and an acute understanding of delivery methodologies
Relevant 3rd level IT degree
Stamp 4 and / or EU Passport. Must be based in ROI .
