Mainframe Environment Engineer Private Sector

What’s involved:

• Building new IMS/DB2 test environments
• Endevor Administration
• Middleware exposure to: MQ, CDC, Informatica is an advantage
• Masking IMS/DB2/VSAM files using Informatica
• Responding to support requests received from EMS Customers diligently and effectively
• Using and extending existing tools for automation and service improvement

What you need:

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role;
• Strong Hands on Experience in Engineering change in some / all of : CICS, Cobol, JCL, DB2, IMS;
• Familiarity/background in mainframe storage management
• Understanding of DB2/IMS Database manipulation
• Experience in both Batch and Online application development;
• Familiar with the following tools:  Endevor Administration, Fileaid, TSO, Xpeditor;
• Desirable knowledge REXX/ISPF, MQ, OPC / IBM Infosphere Data Capture;
