What’s Involved
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support for MES applications, addressing user inquiries and issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related software and hardware issues, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
- Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring that MES applications operate efficiently.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and patch management, in accordance with established protocols.
- Work closely with IT infrastructure teams to ensure proper integration of MES with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, LIMS).
What you need:
- +10 years of experience in IT support, specifically within MES or manufacturing environments in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
- Familiarity with MES software solutions (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric) and integration with ERP systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Experience with database management (e.g., SQL).
- Knowledge of networking principles and system administration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
