Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer Public Sector

What’s involved:
- Lead strategic and technical initiatives in designing OpenShift-based Kubernetes clusters along with their associated server and network infrastructures.
- Ensure that architectural designs meet non-functional requirements, including high availability and disaster recovery.
- Design and develop CI/CD pipelines tailored for containerized applications.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to the Modern Engineering Platform team in refactoring and migrating existing applications to OpenShift containers.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Maintain and optimize processes for container orchestration and deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Ensure clusters adhere to client security standards.
What you need:
- 5+ years of experience managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including ACM, ACS, and Quay.
- Proven expertise with CI/CD tools such as Git, Helm, ArgoCD, SonarQube, Azure DevOps Services, Podman, Skopeo, Clair, ZAProxy, HashiCorp Vault, Gatling, and Nexus Repository.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Certifications: Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator or Kubernetes Certified Administrator.
