Senior Security Specialist Role and Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking an experience & dynamic Senior Security Specialist to oversee IT operations & lead the cybersecurity strategy.
What’s involved: Manage and supervise the ICT team and liaise with ICT vendors.
Oversee internal ICT project management and ensure continuity through robust Disaster Recovery planning.
Lead the organisation’s cyber security efforts, including application and network security, incident response, threat intelligence analysis, and endpoint protection.
Manage outsourced SOC/SIEM operations and security vendors.
Deliver cybersecurity training and ensure compliance with HEA policies and national standards.
Contribute to strategic planning by developing and implementing roadmaps to strengthen the HEA’s cybersecurity posture
What you need:
7+ years’ cybersecurity experience
In-depth experience with popular SIEM platforms
Deep understanding of Cloud and Application Security Best Practices
Knowledge of incident handling processes and techniques.
Expert on the cyber threat landscape
Knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, GDPR
