- Our client, a leading fintech company, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. This role is essential for ensuring platform stability and health, supporting developers during the application build phase, and driving innovation in system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for application health, performance, and capacity.
- Support pre-launch services with system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to implement robust monitoring and alerting strategies, enabling zero-downtime deployments.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and resilience by automating proactive, data-driven alerts for issue resolution.
- Conduct sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems to optimize recovery times.
- Establish and refine Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to improve reliability in collaboration with development teams.
- Solve complex development and business challenges across all stages of the service lifecycle.
- Lead CI/CD pipeline support for software promotion, including validation and operational gating.
- Increase automation and build tools to reduce manual intervention and repetitive tasks.
What You Need to Succeed
- Salesforce Administration & Workbench: Hands-on experience managing Salesforce environments and resolving cases.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Proven expertise in monitoring, automation, and reliability optimization.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes.
- ITSM Processes & ALM: Proficiency in managing IT service processes and application lifecycle management.
- Automation & Monitoring Tools: Expertise in designing and optimizing tools for automated workflows and system monitoring.
