Application Support 12month Contract Hybrid Dublin

What’s involved:
·          Support and monitor live Java applications, investigating and resolving production issues.

·          Perform root cause analysis and manage incident/bug tickets.

·          Develop and propose fixes for live issues.

·          Create and maintain functional specifications and user stories.

·          Develop, unit test and integration test code.

·          Participate in code reviews and maintain coding/testing standards.

·          Support system testing and resolve issues during migration to test environments.

·          Maintain Jira requirements, work logs and technical documentation.

What you need:
·          5+ years’ experience in Java development, ideally working in a live/production environment.

·          Strong Java development experience.

·          Experience with Spring, SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

·          Knowledge of Web Services, WebLogic and XML.

·          Experience with relational databases and ETL technologies.

·          Strong JUnit, unit and integration testing experience.

·          Angular/AngularJS experience is desirable.

·          Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

·          Experience working in standards-driven environments.
