Automation Tester Role and Responsibilities:
- This role will see the successful candidate work with a talented team of developers and test engineers to design and implement automated API/UI tests.
What’s involved:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API and UI testing.
- Implement automated test scripts using C# with tools such as Selenium WebDriver and RestSharp.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams
- Utilize cloud platforms to manage, execute, and scale automated tests as part of the deployment process.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results to support transparency and reproducibility.
What you need:
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing automated API/UI tests
- Strong C# programming skills with experience in frameworks like Selenium WebDriver and RestSharp
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Performance testing expertise with relevant tools
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms
What’s on offer:
- 6 month contract
- 350-420 daily rate - depending on experience
