Roles & Responsibilities:

• Our client is seeking a seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation and governance of its cloud infrastructure environment. This role will play a key part in shaping the organisation’s cloud strategy.
• Working primarily within Microsoft Azure, the successful candidate will collaborate with internal ICT teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable and future-focused cloud solutions.

What you’ll do

• Lead the architecture and design of Azure cloud solutions
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure for new systems and migration projects.
• Manage Azure networking, including ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, DNS zones, Azure Firewall and Web Application Gateways.
• Create and manage cloud resources using Azure Portal, PowerShell, Azure CLI and ARM/Bicep templates.
• Drive workload migrations from private cloud environments to Azure or AWS.
• Monitor and optimise cloud environments using Log Analytics, KQL and Azure Sentinel.
• Communicate technical solutions and cloud strategy effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience in cloud architecture or a related senior ICT role.
• Experience in architecting cloud infrastructure environments.
• Strong background in migrating workloads from private cloud to AWS or Azure
• Proven expertise in IaaS and PaaS cloud environments and workload migration projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and infrastructure automation.
• Cloud architect certification such as:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect
