BI Analyst Public Sector

Our Client:

• A prominent public sector organisation with a national remit is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to support a high-impact ICT function. The role is hybrid, with primarily remote work and a requirement to attend one day per week onsite at their Midlands-based headquarters.

What’s Involved:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end BI reporting and ETL solutions using tools such as IBM Cognos, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Supporting data transformation processes and materialised views to ensure clean, secure reporting pipelines.
• Administering BI environments including user access, performance tuning, and disaster recovery support.
• Collaborating with technical teams, business units, and operational stakeholders to deliver accurate, actionable insights.

What You Need:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in senior-level BI roles.
• A relevant Level 7 qualification or higher (or international equivalent).
• Fluent English (C2 proficiency if not native).
• Demonstrable expertise in:
• Oracle (v9–19), PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server 2022
• IBM Cognos 10/11 BI, Tableau (v2022.3+), SSRS
• ETL development, including batch scripting and data warehousing
• Windows Server environments, TOAD, and SQL Loader
