What’s involved:

Design and develop high-quality, scalable software applications using Scala and Python 3.10+
Work with Big Data platforms such as Databricks, Cloudera, Teradata, and others
Implement and advocate for best practices in software engineering, design patterns, CI/CD, test automation, and version control (Git)
Collaborate in an agile, high-performing environment, contributing to both code and team development
Build and support container-based microservices architectures in a modern cloud or data ecosystem

What you need:

8+ years’ of experience in software application development
Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and microservices
Background of working with relational & NoSQL databases & query languages (Hive/ SparkSQL)
Proven experience with Scala, Python 3.10+
Expertise with Big Data platforms like Databricks, Cloudera & Teradata
Knowledge of testing frameworks, CI/CD, test Automation
