Role Overview

  • Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for Agile delivery to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to translate product vision and strategy into actionable requirements, perform system and process analysis, and ensure thorough testing to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analysis and a strong commitment to driving improvements and change within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in planning and monitoring business analysis activities throughout the requirements process for medium and large projects.
  • Conduct requirement analysis and management activities, including facilitating workshops to refine solutions and define Minimum Viable Products (MVP).
  • Collaborate with Scrum teams to lead test analysis and management activities, ensuring comprehensive and high-quality testing aligned with stakeholder needs.
  • Create and manage detailed documentation to organizational standards, including User Stories and Backlogs.
  • Identify and manage project risks to ensure business delivery risks are captured and mitigated.
  • Drive process and delivery improvements to enhance the services provided by the Business Analysis team.
  • Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
  • Act as a Business Analysis Subject Matter Expert (SME), coaching and mentoring team members as needed.
  • Coordinate and lead efforts to drive organizational improvements and change initiatives.


Essential Criteria

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant Business Analysis experience.
  • Agile Expertise: Demonstrable experience working in Agile environments with real-world application.
  • Education: IT degree or equivalent, or strong relevant business or technical experience.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with formal software development and process redesign methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary client requirements and processes across integrated system platforms.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in the financial services sector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of risk management and testing practices in Agile environments.
