Data Analyst Short-term (4-6weeks) Private Sector

What’s involved:

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for commercial finance.
• Extract, analyse and reconcile financial data from SAP and other sources.
• Report on revenue, costs, margins and profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting.
• Automate reporting processes and improve data accuracy.
• Build reports highlighting performance, trends and budget variances.
• Test reports, resolve issues and document reporting processes.
• Train and hand over reporting solutions to the internal Finance team.

What you need:

• +5years experience as a Data Analyst
• Strong experience in commercial finance reporting and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience extracting and reconciling SAP financial data.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Strong understanding of P&L, revenue, costs, margins, budgets and forecasts.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong data validation, testing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines.
• SAP Report Painter, SQL and insurance/financial services experience are desirable.
