Role and Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a experienced , innovative, Data Engineer implementing data analytics products using on-prem and cloud data platforms.
What’s involved:
- You will help lead the team and design, build, optimisation, and support of scalable Spark / PySpark data pipelines on Databricks (Batch + Streaming).
- Leverage data ingestion frameworks (Apache NiFi, SFTP/FTPS, API)
- Implement orchestration using Airflow, Databricks Workflows
- Embed lineage & metadata
- Drive CI/CD for data assets
- versioning, semantic tagging, environment promotion).
- Mentor engineers on distributed data performance, partitioning, file layout (Delta Lake optimization), caching, and cost/perf trade‑offs.
- Review code
- Support incident response (root cause, postmortems, preventative engineering).
What you need:
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Excellent knowledge of Data pipelines, data bricks
- Expert knowledge of Spark and Python
- Strong experience working with AWS
