Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Environment Manager to establish and lead a new Environment Management Function within a major digital transformation programme. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for creating a stable, scalable, and well-governed environment landscape across the full delivery lifecycle.
You'll take ownership of programme environments (Development, System, SIT, UAT and Production), ensuring they are secure, available, and deployment-ready while supporting a complex technology landscape spanning Azure, Dynamics 365, on-premise data sources, and integrated platforms.
What’s involved:
Lead the end-to-end management of all programme environments.
Define and implement a unified Environment Operating Model, including governance, processes, tooling, and controls.
Manage environment planning, refresh cycles, availability, and cross-workstream dependencies. Collaborate with Release Management to ensure successful deployments and cutovers.
Drive environment stability through proactive issue resolution, root cause analysis, and automation.
Build and lead an Environment Management capability that will transition into an enterprise-wide service.
Establish reporting, monitoring, and governance to ensure compliance within a regulated Financial Services environment.
What you need:
10+ years' experience in Environment Management, Release Management, DevOps, or Platform Operations.
Strong expertise in Azure, Dynamics 365, CI/CD pipelines, and hybrid cloud environments.
Experience managing complex environment landscapes within large-scale transformation programmes.
Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver in regulated Financial Services environments.
A proactive, organised leader with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
