Fullstack Developer Role and Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a fullstack developer with a strong background in VB.NET and C#, HTML, CSS/Bootstrap, TypeScript/JavaScript, ASP.NET
  • What’s involved:
    Develop new functionality and enhancements for a web-based Apprenticeship Management System
  • Support both front-end and back-end application development
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues
  • Provide front-line technical support to end users
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into Epics and User Stories
  • Work collaboratively within Agile SCRUM delivery teams
  • Contribute to modern engineering practices within a legacy application environment
  • Implement and maintain unit testing, CI/CD practices, and automated QA testing
  • Maintain source code repositories using Git and TFVC
  • Participate in full SDLC activities including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance

What you need:

  • Public sector experience is essential
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • .NET development (VB.NET and C#)
  • SQL Server, including stored procedures and database design
  • HTML, CSS/Bootstrap, JavaScript/TypeScript, ASP.NET
  • Unit testing frameworks and practices
  • Git and TFVC source control
  • Design patterns and enterprise application development
  • Experience working across both legacy and modern technology stacks
  • Experience delivering medium to large-scale enterprise applications
  • Strong understanding of secure development practices for public-facing applications
  • Proven experience working within Agile SCRUM environments

  • Location: Hybrid — Dublin 1
  • Remote Working: 3 days per week
  • Anchor Day: Wednesday onsite
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day
