Java Software Engineer Private Sector

- As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing software components for business products based on project plans while ensuring high-quality outcomes. You will work within an Agile Scrum delivery methodology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, testing, and implementing software components.
- Collaborating directly with the business to refine requirements and diagnose issues.
- Creating technical specifications and supporting the development process.
- Assisting in testing and troubleshooting, including identifying and resolving bugs.
- Following the SDLC while adhering to standards and suggesting potential improvements.
- Supporting the project team lead to ensure timely delivery of developments within budget.
What You Need
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Maven, Oracle PLSQL, Unix, and Weblogic.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT application development experience.
- Experience working in Agile environments with a strong understanding of Scrum ceremonies.
- Strong database skills and knowledge of database structures and concepts.
- Proven ability to analyse, prepare, execute, and test coding changes.
- Multi-skilled and capable of working across different phases of the SDLC simultaneously.
- A self-driven, collaborative approach to task ownership and completion.
