Administration of DDoS platform
Managing the security posture.
Identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
Participating in responding to security incidents.
Using networking and virtualization to improve cybersecurity measures.
Taking part in the design of new technology.
Keeping up-to-date with recent developments in networking technology.
What you need:
Experience in enterprise networking, on-premises or cloud infrastructure, and network security.
Commercial Azure experience is essential.
Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs and virtual networking.
Working in a Cloud Environment is essential
Practical experience in administration of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
The role will probably be around 20 – 30% on Prem
Strong familiarity with compute, network, and storage in Azure.
Ability to work with architects, administrators, and developers to plan and implement solutions that meet security and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of a variety of cisco networking technologies, including IP routing, switching, and wireless access points.
Familiar with remote access tools, user VPNs, MFA.
Experience with network installations including Cisco Routers, ASAs, Switches
Good communication skills.
Familiar with DDoS, WAF protections
Ability to work in a team to implement and support networks and end-users.
CCNA or CCNP Certification would be an advantage
There will be an on – call aspect to the role. 1 week in 3 will be on call – After the probationary period with days in lieu and with on call allowances.
