What’s involved:

• Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance
• Developing new database-centric functionality on existing software products.
• Creating technical and architectural documentation
• Troubleshooting changes/errors/modifications.
• Monitoring the performance of legacy systems
• Designing schemas, tables, and servers and set permissions for users to access them.
• Creating shell scripts
• Providing weekly progress reports on work assigned

What you need:

• 7+ years’ with Oracle Database technology
• Exadata platform experiene is essential   
• Working with technologies such as MS SQL, etc (or equivalent)
• Performing database maintenance and support activities
• Designing, developing databases, using Oracle Server 2016 or later.
• Managing the day to day tasks of the databased support and maintenance
• Working with ICT Teams supporting SQL Server environments.
• Must have stamp 4/ EU/ Irish citizenship
