Platform Architect Roles and Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking an experienced Platform Architect to lead the design, development, and operation of their Azure cloud and DevOps platform. This is a hands-on role supporting their digital transformation and growth strategy.
What is involved:
Own and evolve the Azure-based cloud and DevOps platform roadmap and governance
Design and optimise cloud-native and DevOps practices across teams
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, and Azure-native services
Champion best practices in IaC, automation, security, observability, cost management, and reliability
Provide technical leadership and guidance across development, platform, and operations teams
Develop reusable architectures, patterns, and automation frameworks
What you need:
5+ years’ experience in cloud or solution architecture within enterprise environments
Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (PaaS, DevOps, landing zones, governance)
Strong CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform)
Knowledge of cloud networking, containers (AKS/Kubernetes), and API management
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and mentoring skills
