Platform Engineer

Type: Contract Location: Dublin Salary: €400 per day

A leading global consulting and technology firm, working with engineering teams to support development projects across the business.

What's Involved:

Joining a team of engineers responsible for empowering development teams through self-service platforms
Creating, maintaining and improving CI/CD frameworks across development platforms of medium to enterprise scale
Collaborating with Software Development, QA Engineers, and System Architects to continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of the overall SDLC
Identifying and removing software development bottlenecks
Supporting multiple project teams and codebases to enable deployment of application releases across test and production environments
Gaining exposure to DevOps practices and Continuous Software Delivery using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Jenkins and Azure

What You Need:

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role
A technology background, ideally with Platform Engineering or DevOps experience
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Experience with branching methodologies
A passion for innovation, creative problem solving, and intellectual curiosity
Strong communication skills, including fluent English (consulting experience advantageous)
A 3rd level degree in Computer Science or equivalent
