PMO Operations Manager Private Sector

What’s involved:

• Lead the operational functions of the PMO, developing scalable governance frameworks and project delivery processes.
• Support and guide Project and Programme Managers across the project lifecycle, ensuring high standards and on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee resource planning across projects and act as a critical link between internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of analysts and project support staff.
• Drive organisational maturity in project management through coaching, training, and best-practice implementation.
• Lead business-critical, cross-functional projects aligned with strategic goals.

What you need:

• A degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
• 10+ years' experience in project management, with 5+ in a senior PMO or leadership role within energy/infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of the energy landscape in Ireland, including regulatory, grid, and planning frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead complex renewable energy projects at scale.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Must be based in Ireland
