Risk Programme Manager and Responsibilities:
What’s involved:
Manage end-to-end delivery of security and risk-related programs across multiple business units.
Define scope, objectives, milestones, budgets, and success criteria.
Develop detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and risk registers.
Drive accountability and progress across technical, operational, and compliance teams.
Support the implementation and improvement of risk management frameworks
Partner with risk owners to track mitigation actions and ensure timely closure of findings.
Support audit readiness, policy compliance, and control validation activities.
Liaise between technical security teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
Provide clear and timely reporting on project status, risks, and dependencies.
Communicate complex technical and risk issues in business-relevant terms.
Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to enhance project governance and delivery effectiveness.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Certifications (desirable): PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar.
5+ years of project/program management experience, ideally within cybersecurity, IT risk, or compliance domains.
Proven track record managing enterprise-level security initiatives (e.g. vulnerability management programs, data protection, incident response readiness, GRC implementations).
Strong understanding of risk management principles, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, etc.).
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing external vendors or partners.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and common security controls.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
