What’s involved:

• Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery functions to define requirements and support the delivery of effective payment solutions
• Lead business analysis activities across complex transformation programmes focused on SEPA Instant Payments and UK Faster Payments
• Support end-to-end payment implementation initiatives, including requirements definition, solution design, testing, and delivery
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and project teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives
• Analyse existing payment processes, systems, and operating models to identify improvements, risks, and change impacts
• Produce detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, project documentation, and supporting analysis
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, define solutions, and align business and technology teams
• Support solution scoping, planning, delivery activities, and implementation across large-scale transformation initiatives
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts, promoting best practices and effective ways of working

What you need:

• 10+ years’ experience working as a Senior Business Analyst within complex enterprise environments
• Strong experience in SEPA Instant Payments and/or UK Faster Payments
• Proven experience supporting end-to-end payments implementation projects
• Strong understanding of payment processes, schemes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Proven ability to gather, analyse, and document complex business requirements
• Experience producing BRDs, project documentation, user stories, process models, and solution assessments
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging business users, technology teams, and senior stakeholders
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation and technology change programmes
• Previous experience working within regulated environments, particularly Financial Services or Banking, is highly desirable
• Agile delivery experience and familiarity working with cross-functional delivery teams
