Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Public Sector

Our Client:

• Our public sector client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Data, BI and Analytics function on a 12-month contract (with the option to extend by up to three further 12-month periods). This is a hybrid role based in Dublin 8, with an immediate start date of 1 November 2026.

What's Involved:

• Coordinating and executing data validation and acceptance testing, including support for migration and ongoing data pipeline releases
• Monitoring and analysing data quality, integrity and processing logs, identifying issues and supporting resolution with technical teams
• Producing ad hoc analytical reports and data extracts to support audits, inspections, reconciliation and defect investigation
• Investigating data issues, bugs and inconsistencies, and contributing to testing and resolution processes
• Delivering business and technical documentation, including data mapping, transformation/validation rules and audit/compliance materials
• Supporting the design of data migration and integration processes to ensure data quality and consistency
• Analysing data across SQL-based and other enterprise data platforms
• Developing Data Management Plans covering governance, data flows, controls and process mapping
• Contributing to logical and physical data model design and documentation

What You Need:

• 7+ years' experience in data migration/analysis
• Strong hands-on SQL skills
• Industry certifications in data analytics, governance or engineering (desirable)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (desirable)
• Fluent English
• Full working rights to work in Ireland (stamp 4/EU citizenship)
• Availability to start 1 November 2026
