What’s Involved

• Lead secure architecture reviews and design of Azure cloud solutions in line with best practice and compliance standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modelling, and cloud security reviews across key projects.
• Define and implement cloud security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Advise on secure configuration of Azure services, including identity, encryption, and network protection.
• Support integration of CNAPP and API security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native workflows.
• Collaborate across Cloud, Architecture, and Identity teams to drive consistent, secure design approaches. 

What’s Needed

• 7+ years’ experience in IT security, including at least 3 years in cloud security architecture.
• Strong technical expertise in Azure cloud security and native tooling (e.g., Defender suite).
• Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Proven knowledge of identity and access management, encryption, and secure API design.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation) and DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical risk into business impact.
