What’s involved:

• Design and deliver enterprise data warehouse solutions within a banking environment
• Analyse source data, data flows, and business requirements
• Stay hands-on with Teradata SQL, data investigation, and solution validation
• Work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, testers, and architects
• Produce HLDs, Architecture Design Decisions, and governance documentation
• Present solutions to Architecture Boards and governance forums
• Embed data governance, lineage, auditability, and regulatory controls into solution design
• Support delivery through build, testing, implementation, and production support

What you need:

• 5+ years' experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineering Lead with architecture ownership
• Strong hands-on Teradata and SQL experience within enterprise data warehouse environments
• Banking or financial services experience, ideally with the Teradata Financial Services Data Model
• Strong data modelling, data analysis, and enterprise data warehouse design experience
• Knowledge of BCBS239, RDARR, regulatory reporting, data governance, lineage, and auditability
• Experience with Informatica and/or DataStage, plus Control-M or similar tools
• Excellent stakeholder management and experience producing architecture documentation (HLDs, ADDs)
