Senior Software Engineer (Business Rules) – 12 Month Contract, Hybrid, Dublin
 

What’s Involved
·         Build and operate scalable global platforms with high throughout, low latency and 5 9’s availability.
·         Work hands-on with Fraud Rules Engines as a Rule Author, writing and implementing rules.
·         Support fraud rules strategy using AI technologies, including Gen AI and LLMs.
·         Follow solution architecture designs and ensure delivery aligns with business, infrastructure, security and compliance requirements.
·         Drive implementation best practices, automation and platform enhancements.
·         Work across modern programming languages such as Java, Python or Go, alongside relational and NoSQL databases.
What’s Needed
·         5+ years’ software engineering experience, with strong hands-on software development skills.
·         Experience with Fraud Rules Engines and large-scale migration projects.
·         Strong understanding of DevOps, IT operations, software development processes and Application Lifecycle Management tools.
·         Experience working with one or more programming languages and frameworks, ideally with exposure to declarative or functional programming.
·         Knowledge of scalable, loosely coupled and stateless systems, with experience in performance tuning and automation.
·         Background in financial services or banking would be highly beneficial.
