What's involved

Shaping and contributing to test strategies for new features, covering both functional and non-functional scope
Building, maintaining, and documenting test automation frameworks from the ground up
Designing and executing automated tests across API and UI tiers, with clear and transparent coverage reporting
Handling integration testing across systems, databases, and services
Working closely with software engineers to ensure testability and strong unit test coverage
Championing testing best practices within a Scrum team and contributing to the wider quality practice
Identifying inefficiencies in test approaches and driving continuous improvement

What you need

3+ years in a similar SDET or test automation role
Strong Java skills with hands-on experience building BDD automation frameworks (Cucumber/Serenity, Rest Assured, Selenium)
Proven experience writing integration, functional, and regression tests with solid CI/CD pipeline exposure
Comfortable with Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git
Good database and SQL skills from a functional testing perspective
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to quality gate implementation
