We are seeking an experienced Solution Technology Architect to define and govern end-to-end solution architecture across projects, products and programmes.
You will provide architecture leadership across applications, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure and operational transition, ensuring business requirements are translated into secure, scalable and practical solutions.

Define solution options and target architectures across application, integration, data, infrastructure and security domains.
Translate business and technical requirements into clear architecture decisions, delivery guidance and implementation standards.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, development standards, security requirements and operational needs.
Provide design assurance throughout the SDLC, including requirements, development, integration, testing, deployment and transition to support.
Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, delivery teams, vendors and operational teams to resolve design issues and manage dependencies.
Assess existing systems, identify gaps and define practical enhancement, integration or replacement options.
Design solutions with a strong focus on security, resilience, disaster recovery and non-functional requirements.
What you need:
Experience in Energy or Utilities
Proven experience delivering Solution Architecture within complex, multi-system environments.
Strong understanding of architecture across applications, data, integration, cloud/platform, infrastructure and security.
Experience designing for security, resilience, disaster recovery and non-functional requirements.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), architecture governance, testing, deployment and transition to operations.
Experience working with cloud technologies, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based solutions.
Understanding of infrastructure technologies including hardware, server virtualisation, storage and networking.
Experience with Azure Fabric, Power BI, APIs, integration and event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT), energy markets, power systems and OT/IT integration would be highly desirable.
Experience within regulated, utility, energy or critical infrastructure environments would be advantageous.
