We are seeking an experienced Strategic Enablement & Digital Transformation Lead to support the Chief Executive of the company in driving delivery of the organisation's strategic enablement, digital transformation, and organisational change agenda. This is a senior contractor role focused on improving delivery assurance, governance, accountability, and execution across a portfolio of strategic, legislative, and technology-enabled initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
Work directly with the Chief Executive to maintain focus, pace, and delivery discipline across strategic enablement and digital transformation initiatives.
Support delivery of the companies Strategic Plan 2026–2029, associated domain strategies, and multi-annual service planning commitments.
Translate strategic, legislative, and digital objectives into practical, delivery-ready programmes and roadmaps.
Support and challenge programme sponsors and senior leaders to ensure accountability for agreed outcomes, milestones, and dependencies.
Identify and proactively address delivery risks, blockers, organisational constraints, and interdependencies impacting programme success.
Ensure transformation initiatives are appropriately scoped, prioritised, resourced, and governed alongside ongoing regulatory operations.
Establish and embed effective programme and portfolio management frameworks, governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and delivery routines.
Drive improved visibility, predictability, and control across strategic and digital transformation initiatives.
Support delivery of digital systems, data, platform, and organisational change programmes.
Facilitate informed decision-making, prioritisation, and programme reset activities where required.
Define requirements for specialist external support where necessary and integrate additional resources into the overall delivery framework.
What you need:
10+ years' experience leading complex transformation programmes, including digital and technology-enabled change initiatives.
