System Analyst Public Sector

What’s involved:

• Gather, analyse and translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories and specifications.
• Develop project artefacts including data dictionaries, API guides, release notes, diagrams and documentation.
• Work closely with stakeholders, Solution Architects, Development and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support technical architecture definition and review third-party technical artefacts.
• Analyse existing systems and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

What you need:

• 4–6 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and user stories.
• Experience creating technical project documentation and artefacts.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB or MS SQL.
• Understanding of JSON and XML.
• Experience supporting Solution/Technical Architects, Development and QA teams.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical environments.
• Level 8 NFQ qualification with computing/computational modules.
