What’s involved:
- Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and technical requirements
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements refinement sessions
- Create and maintain high-quality User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and supporting documentation in Azure DevOps
- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Work closely with developers, testers, project managers, and system integration teams throughout the SDLC
- Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Track, triage, and manage defects through to resolution using Azure DevOps
- Produce business process documentation, process maps, use cases, and user journeys
- Support application demonstrations, business sign-off, deployment, and knowledge transfer
What you need:
- 2–3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within a software delivery environment
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements
- Experience writing User Stories and detailed, testable Acceptance Criteria
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps to manage backlogs, requirements, user stories, tasks, and defects
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience supporting or coordinating SIT and UAT activities
- Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment
- Experience with digital transformation, Microsoft technologies, or public sector projects is desirable
