Lead and facilitate workshops to capture and document current (“as-is”) processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
Conduct detailed gap analysis, process mapping, data analysis, and system integration analysis to support solution design.
Elicit, document, and refine clear, actionable user stories and technical integration stories aligned to sprint goals.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, design teams, and delivery teams to shape functional solutions and support sprint execution.
Participate in programme increment planning, sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and ongoing prioritisation activities.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement within the Business Analyst community.
What’s Needed
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or IT change role, ideally within Financial Services (Health, Life, or Pensions experience advantageous).
Strong expertise in business analysis disciplines including process engineering, data analysis, requirements elicitation, and solution design.
Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with hands-on involvement in sprint planning and backlog management.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Technical proficiency in data analysis and querying (e.g., SQL/PLSQL) and familiarity with system integration concepts and reporting.
