Technical Delivery Lead Private Sector

What’s involved

• Lead build, test, deployment and early life support activity across key technology projects and programmes.
• Manage delivery plans, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and change control across the platform.
• Establish governance, reporting and communication structures across Change, Technology Services and delivery teams.
• Coordinate internal teams, third-party suppliers and partner resources across onshore and offshore delivery.
• Ensure technical delivery meets agreed quality standards and transitions smoothly into live business-as-usual operations.
• Maintain delivery documentation, risk controls and compliance with internal, legal and regulatory requirements.

What’s needed

• Experience delivering complex technical build solutions or supporting significant applications, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Background managing delivery across build, test, deployment and support activities.
• Experience working in waterfall environments, with exposure to Agile delivery methods.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders, delivery partners and cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of risk, compliance, governance and controls within a regulated environment.
• Technical literacy, with iSeries, core banking, Corporate and Markets, testing process or IT delivery experience an advantage.
