- Create clear technical content: guides, tutorials, API docs, and internal resources for different audiences.
- Manage content lifecycle: write, update, and govern materials to keep them accurate and easy to find.
- Lead onboarding content strategy: build a strong library of helpful onboarding and enablement resources.
- Act as a subject-matter expert: develop deep product knowledge and support internal and external teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support to fill content gaps.
- Improve documentation processes: set up scalable workflows, version control, and governance standards.
- Document product innovation: capture new features and services for both technical and non-technical users.
- Continuously improve: audit and update content based on feedback, data, and evolving needs.
- Champion content strategy: shape the long-term vision for docs as a growth driver and enablement tool.
- Stay user-focused: use data, community insights, and collaboration to ensure content meets real needs.
What you need:
- 7–8 years of experience in technical writing, specializing in APIs, integrations, and B2B/B2C products.
- Skilled at turning complex technical concepts into clear documentation for all audiences.
- Experienced in creating product docs and onboarding materials for developers, architects, partners, and business users.
- Strong technical background, ideally in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2, keys), and API ecosystems.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and frequent changes.
- Collaborative across engineering, product, marketing, and support to align docs with go-to-market needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with Markdown, docs-as-code, Git, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman.
