UAT Test Lead Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Test Lead to join our team in a dynamic banking environment.

What’s involved:

Lead the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing across multiple banking projects.
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define test plans.
Coordinate with business users to schedule and support UAT sessions.
Develop UAT test strategy, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and use cases.
Manage test environments, test data preparation, and defect management processes.
Ensure that all UAT deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Track and report testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
Facilitate UAT entry and exit criteria sign-off with business stakeholders.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to UAT testers and business users.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

What you need:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a UAT Test Lead role.
Experience in the banking or financial services industry is required.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and UAT methodologies.
Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or payment systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency in using test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail).
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management in a financial context.
