Software developers are driven by thirst for innovation. For people who would consider making a move in 2024, they would be seeking opportunities that provide access to the latest technologies. This includes the chance to work on Cloud-based applications, harness the power of emerging programming languages like .NET Core, and stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving tech landscape. Being at the cutting edge is not just a desire but a professionally essentially, as it allows them to continually expand their skill set and remain competitive in an industry that is characterized by rapid change.

 

Career Advancement:

As dedicated professionals, software developers are committed to their long-term growth within their organizations. One of the main motivating factors in making a move would be for employers that foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. There seems to be a big difference in pay from company-to-company eg.  A product designer can be paid 65k in one company and 95k in another for the same role and level.  Software developers are aware of the significant variations in pay from one company to another, even for similar roles and experience levels.
